In fact, Toronto’s High Park Zoo (famous for its surrounding beautiful garden and lakefront views, hiking trails, sports facilities, dog park and playgrounds) was able to remain open to the public while providing free admission without financial support from the City of Toronto for quite some time. Instead, it relied on generous donations from the public that were collected using ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s DG4 meters.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s tech-savvy in-house research and development team was able to reprogram these parking meters to serve as donation stations. Each meter has the ability to accept cash and credit card donations, as well as print official charitable tax receipts for donors. Because our software and internal operations meet secure Level 1 PCI-compliant financial processing criteria, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s parking equipment is a viable solution for not-for-profit organizations, such as zoos, hospitals, and parks as a means to ask their visitors to pay it forward.
